The Principal

Caroline Morales

Caroline Morales took the helm at Martin Luther King Jr. Academy in July 2026 after serving as assistant principal at Lafayette High School. Previously, she taught physics in Fairfield, Connecticut, before joining Fayette County Public Schools as a math and science teacher at STEAM Academy. She also taught probability and statistics and served as an interventionist at Bryan Station High School.

Morales holds a bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering from Boston University, a master’s degree in Math &  Science Education from Central Connecticut State University, a master’s degree in Educational Psychology & Technology from the University of Connecticut, an educational specialist degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Kentucky, and a doctorate in Educational Psychology from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology.
